Together Women Rise
Together Women Rise is a powerful community of women and allies dedicated to achieving global gender equality. We have hundreds of local chapters across the U.S. where members learn about and advocate for gender equality issues, give grants to organizations that empower women and girls in low-income countries, and build community to forge meaningful connections that increase our strength and collective impact. Tandana is deeply grateful for TWR's generous grant, which made possible the Women's Literacy Program in Mali from 2016-2018.
Fundación Vista Para Todos
Of all the patients we see through our Community Health and Well-being Program, a large number require in-depth vision exams and treatment. We bring them all to Vista Para Todos.
Kawsaymi
Olouguelemo Environmental Association
Olouguelemo is an association of 15 villages in Wadouba Township, Mali that seeks to protect the local environment, reverse deforestation processes, and promote soil fertility. We have partnered with Olouguelemo since before its inception, collaborating on environmental initiatives.
Pack for a Purpose
We are proud members of Pack for a Purpose, an initiative that allows travelers like you to make a lasting impact in the community at your travel destination. If you save just a few lbs. of space in your suitcase and take supplies for the projects we support in need, you’ll make a priceless impact on the lives of our local children and families. Please click on the name to see a general list of supplies needed or better yet, email us at info [at] tandanafoundation.org for the most updated list of our current and pressing needs. The Traveling School
The Traveling School offers teenage girls ages 15-18 the opportunity to explore the world and learn about themselves through academic, physical, and cultural challenges. We partner with them when they bring groups to Ecuador, but our relationship extends far beyond that. Anna Taft, Tandana's founder, initially worked for the Traveling School, and with them, set up her first project in the community of Agualongo. The success of this project is what inspired her to launch Tandana.
Tools With Impact
Tools With Impact's mission is to combat poverty in developing nations by providing underserved students with the necessary school supplies and equipment needed to attend and succeed in school. Tools with Impact has graciously funded Tandana projects in both Ecuador and Mali.
Unearth The World
Unearth the World was created in 2012 when Mike and Kathryn, a married couple from Chicago, decided to give up their corporate jobs to travel the world and volunteer for a year. They decided to take the trip of a lifetime in an attempt to unearth and discover the world. They wanted to see and experience international cultures from a local’s perspective instead of a tourist’s perspective. Since 2018, UTW looks for and pairs interested individuals and groups with Tandana programs creating another win-win opportunity.
