The community of San Juan de Inguincho is trying to achieve access to clean drinking water for each family.  In partnership with Tandana and Rotary International, they have built a water treatment plant.  Now they are working to pipe the clean water to all the homes in their extensive community.  Extremely heavy rains in June 2022 caused a landslide that took out some pipes they had already installed and washed out their water capture points, but residents are undeterred and have been working together weekly to repair the damage and install new pipes over a new, more secure route.  To complete this phase, they need more than six miles worth of pipes and other materials.  You can help deliver clean water to all the families in the community.

Residents of Inguincho have been working hard for years to achieve their goal of clean water piped to eaech home.  A landslide triggered by extremely heavy rains last year wiped out piping that had already been constructed to supply the community of San Juan de Inguincho. Tandana is providing ongoing support for this project with materials, volunteer labor, and training. You can help to fulfill the dream of the community, in the words of Water Board Spokesperson Zoila Violeta Pichamba, "to have pure, clean water for good health."
